Overview

More than an online pharmacy.

Rošić Pharmacy is a CMS-driven e-commerce platform designed to make discovering and purchasing pharmacy products simple and intuitive.

I independently developed the entire frontend from the ground up, building complex product navigation, adaptive interfaces, and complete shopping workflows integrated with REST APIs.

Problem

The main challenge was bringing together complex product hierarchies, dynamic CMS content, and interconnected shopping workflows into one consistent, intuitive experience — without compromising frontend maintainability.

  1. 01 — Recursive product categories

    Navigating complexity, naturally.

    Built a recursive navigation system capable of rendering deeply nested product categories without hardcoded hierarchy levels. The data-driven approach keeps navigation flexible and reusable as the catalog evolves.

  2. 02 — Adaptive CMS design

    Design that adapts to content.

    Implemented image-based color extraction using Vibrant to generate complementary background colors from CMS-uploaded imagery, allowing promotional sections to adapt visually to changing content.

  3. 03 — Advanced product discovery

    Helping users find what matters.

    Developed global product search and filtering by category, brand, and price, bringing multiple discovery tools together into a consistent and intuitive browsing experience.

    From discovery to checkout.

Reflection

What I learned along the way.

This project strengthened my ability to independently deliver complex frontend applications, integrate backend services, and translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.

It also reinforced the importance of reusable solutions, attention to detail, and thoughtful technical decisions.
